Welcome to Art in the Greenhouse
Fall 2025 – Winter 2026 Offerings
Cyanotype Sundays
Spend a sunny morning from 11am to 1pm in the Hanover Garden Club Greenhouse discovering the magic of cyanotype! Almost 200 years old, this unique fusion of printmaking and photography creates lush, cyan- blue images. We will make prints on fabric or paper in a variety of sizes using flowers, plants, and any other botanical trinkets you'd like to bring from home. Natural items like feathers, leaves, and stones will work well, but you are welcome to bring anything that can cast a decent shadow! Paper wrappers, crushed soda cans, and other found objects are welcome. All levels welcome, beginners especially encouraged.
Instructor Emil O'Melia is a teaching artist from Baltimore, MD. He has taught all sorts of arts & crafts to youth, teens, and adults. Nowadays, you can find Emil printmaking, cartooning, designing, or investigating haunted places in White River Junction.
