Learn why hunting deer is important ecologically and the vital role women play in the hunting world on Wednesday, October 28, from 4–5:30 pm at the Howe Library in Hanover. During this fun and informative event, four local women hunters will discuss the reasons they hunt deer each fall. They will be joined by VT and NH hunter education coordinators who will describe their state’s hunter training programs for women. Attendees will get a chance to sample some food made from venison, such as sausage and stews. All are welcome!
