Join the Hanover Garden Club as we introduce our new Teaching Garden. Everyone is invited to our grand opening event, Sunday, September 28 from 10:00 am - 1:30 pm. The day will feature short tours of various elements of the garden showing different options we have researched and implemented along with workshops on native plants and composting. See different varieties, styles, and designs of hardscape including raised beds, pathways/edging and trellises, and learn about different native vines, perennials, groundcovers, shrubs, trees, herbs, and mulches that are represented in the garden. Enter a drawing to win a stainless steel countertop food scrap collection bin or a large backyard composter available while supplies last. Refreshments will be provided and donations will gratefully be accepted to fund future improvements at the Teaching Garden. This event is free and open to the public but registration is requested so we have a headcount for refreshments. Email hgclubweb@gmail.com to reserve your spot.
This garden recently became part of Pollinator Pathway, look for the purple butterfly sign in the garden!
