Dividing and Repotting Perennials for the Plant Sale

Have your perennials outgrown their space; do you have too many babies; is there a plant that no longer "works" in your garden? The Hanover Garden Club's Plant Sale includes perennials and we would be happy to pot up your extras for our sale on May 15 & 16.

Bring plants to the Pine Knoll Cemetery plot (the fenced in area on the right just before the Hanover Waste Water Treatment Plant), starting Monday, April 27. We prefer that the plants be bare-rooted, and please LABEL THEM including the COLOR. If no one is there, leave them in a plastic bag by the gate. Members will be working at the PKC plot on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11-2pm from April 28 to May 13. If you need help excavating the plants from your garden, we can probably help you with that, too - email hgclubweb@gmail.com.

If you are looking for annuals, tomatoes, dahlias, native plants, perennials, etc. at excellent prices the Plant Sale hours are Friday, May 15, 4-7pm and Saturday, May 16, 9am to noon at 41 Grasse Road in Hanover. All proceeds from the sale go toward supporting town gardens and our mission to bring horticultural beauty, service, education and conservation to our Upper Valley community.

Thank you!
