Description: Let's celebrate plants...in the Hanover Garden Club Greenhouse! This series of children's 2-hour workshops is meant for children ages 7-10. We'll meet inside this magical space & create a simple plant nature journal/sketchbook, where we will then explore shapes, lines, and patterns of plants which are thriving & growing in their own glass house. What do you see? Do you choose to use pencils, a pen, markers? Want to spend time celebrating just one plant or several different ones? Work in your nature journal or larger paper? Your choice! All art supplies provided.

Instructor: Tracy Smith was an elementary school art teacher in Norwich, VT for 25 years. In retirement she enjoys making art (glass, book arts, basketry, fiber arts) as well as participating in and/or teaching classes around the Upper Valley. Tracy is attracted to the HGC big glass house with its brilliant colors and bright light, which promises renewal, growth and hope.

This program is free and open to children 7-10 years old, within the 8-person limit. Registration preferred by January 19. Please register via email hgclubweb@gmail.com.
